It’s not surprising that I pursued a career in finance even though my University degree is in the sciences. I come from a long line of entrepreneurs and have inherited my parents’ drive, creativity and passion for business. I was taught the value of a good plan and the importance of treating everyone with integrity and respect. These are lessons I will always remember and that I apply not only to my personal life, but the mortgage profession as well.

I have always prided myself in being active in my community. It allows me to get involved and interact with many different people. I take time to volunteer at a local daycare center, I’m a youth hockey coach and I also served in the Canadian Army Reserves as a Medic. I can’t help but think that it is these life experiences that have made me a more efficient and creative problem solver.
